This is an amazing game loved it from the start, The graphics , atompshere, music and theme is great. Also the game indicated the keys and tutorial of what to use, and what to do. thus The mechanics being easy to use, I also liked the level of difficulty as it is not easy nor too hard which gave it a get balance to it, Overall great job i think it had everything.
Group 46 Review - The theme of the game is really good and easy to understand . **Time Knight** offers an innovative and engaging time-based gameplay experience that stands out with its medieval theme and well-crafted character design. The controls are intuitive, although a bit of fine-tuning to the response time could enhance the experience. The game's 80s and 90s visual charm is appealing, but additional background details would enrich the aesthetics. Minor lags during level transitions should be optimized for smoother gameplay. The unique concept of time manipulation is intriguing, and adding more features around it would deepen the gameplay. Overall, with a few refinements, **Time Knight** has great potential, combining a decent soundtrack, smooth mechanics, and a nostalgic visual style that will captivate players. Adding checkpoints and power-ups would mitigate the frustration of restarting, making it an even better game. 😊🎮
The theme of your game is really intriguing, and the art style suits it perfectly! I appreciate the attention to detail in the background visuals—they really enhance the atmosphere. One thing that could improve the experience is the difficulty balance; some levels felt significantly harder than others. Smoothing out the difficulty progression would help keep players engaged without feeling frustrated. Great job overall—looking forward to seeing how this develops!
Introduction: I loved the innovative time-based gameplay in Time Knight. It does make for an interesting challenge. The medieval theme is visually great, and character design fits with the concept of this game.
Constructive Criticism:
Gameplay Mechanics: Controls can be smoother, some of the game's actions were a bit late, so just a little tweak to the response time will make it even more enjoyable.
Design and Aesthetics: Add in more background detail or texture variation to give it a deeper feel.
Technical Performance: These were minor lags that would occur during transitions between levels. Optimizing this more would create a better flow.
Originality and Creativity: The concept of time manipulation does sound interesting. Adding more features to it for time manipulation would give it more depth.
Conclusion: Great work on the concept! With a couple of refinements, Time Knight will have even more to offer its players. Keep the creativity going!
It is a well-made game with a decent sound track. We can easily dive into it with the given tutorial. Visuals gives like an 80s or 90s game feel, which I really like. Games run smoothly with moderate difficulty, including pitfalls and enemies taking us to start if a character dies. Games run smoothly with no glitches and are easy to use. The only problem is that sometimes it gets frustrating to start from the first all the time. I hope this game adds some checkpoints along the way, with some power as a blast for the character to enhance the gameplay more. Overall, this is great game .
Group 37 Review: wow, nice game. This game reminded me about Super mario, but this is amazing, one of the best games have played so far. Nice sound track, good movement and aim, beautiful graphics.
The graphics are charmingly retro, with pixel art that brings each character and environment to life. The medieval-inspired soundtrack enhances the immersion. I played it more than one time and each time it is working very smoothly, which is amazing. And i also felt like there should be checkpoints in it. But overall, i loved playing your game.
The game seems to work smoothly and also is very interesting to play. It attracts player's attention towards the game by making it more challenging until I found the there are no checkpoints in the game that becomes irritating for player as the game restarts from beginning after the character dies. There should be 3 or 5 respawn limit per level which can be utilized as character can use checkpoint for that game and after that respawn limit overs the game will restart from starting point.
The game runs smoothly, but there’s an issue where normal time speed can’t be resumed if any other inputs are pressed. Additionally, the absence of checkpoints makes dying feel particularly frustrating.
Group 4 Review : Time Knight combines time manipulation and a simple action platformer very well. I found liking in levels of creativity and a touch of strategy that was part of it! Eye-popping visuals are useful, but more often than not, the backgrounds themselves are already displayed to be quite recurring. As for this story, it is still kind of interesting and it can be implemented into gameplay to a better extent. Additional mini-features that will be perfect for it are character dialogues, or maybe some more items which can be discovered in the game setting. Of course, fairly moderate bugs attacked when it came to actions The optimisation of those moments would enhance the immersion of the players. This has not been done before to a great extent but there are some fascinating ideas, one of the most spectacular areas is time manipulation. Perhaps incorporating more particular time-based puzzles into the gameplay could just make the game even more exciting.
Conclusion: Time Knight is quite good-based and rather inventive. Great work so far! I am also eagerly waiting to see how it goes further!
Group 1 Review: Game works smoothly, although you cannot resume normal time speed if any other input is being held, and the lack of checkpoints makes deaths more frustrating.
The game seems interesting. It captivates the player's attention. I noticed that the person who died made you want to try again. The only problem I have with this game is that the field of vision is not very wide. Sometimes, the player has trouble directing his character because he doesn't know where to go. Also, the field of view is small, so we can't see the obstacles. One suggestion for this game is to put respawn points to the link instead of restarting at the beginning.
